Art Direction CREATIVE.NRW branding for the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia

            Boros has been advising the Ministry of Economics of North Rhine-Westphalia on location policy issues since 2010. Under the brand Creative.NRW, our team of six works in the office established for the task in Cologne. There we develop network strategies and consulting services for the cultural and creative industries in NRW.
            In addition, we were responsible for the entire corporate design, including the website, publications, event design and the entire social media presence.



            The creative report records the creative scene of North Rhine-Westphalia in facts and figures, interviews and columns and serves as an annual report and image brochure at the same time. The signature colours of  North Rhine-Westphalia, red and green were overaxaggerated into the neon spectrum to generate contrsst, attention and tension.


            The economic laws of the world wide web turned out to be quite different from what the old economics used to teach. What counts most is what is most scarce now, namely attention. The attention economy brings with it its own kind of wealth, its ows class divisions and its own forms of property, all of which make it incompatible with the industrial-money-market based ecconomy it bids fair to replace. Success will come to those who best accomodate to this new reality.
            Hidden Values is a format encompassing a conference, a publication and a panel discussion, debating future economic values and currencies such as data, relationships and attention. It was held in autumn 2017 at PACT Zollverein in Hessen.
